CENTRE NEWS Feb 2012
We have at last bought HILL FARM so the stables are safe and the horses and ponies will remain at the same address. We hope to have a party to celebrate and will be inviting all of you who have helped us in this two year battle, but until then a very big THANKYOU to everybody for the faith you have had in us.
As you probably have all heard by now poor Jess has broken her ankle and is housebound and very bored. We will not know untill next wednesday if an operation is still necessary so fingers crossed and I for one certainly hope that she will be nack to work before Easter, (i’m shattered)!
We have had a great run through the Pony Club Fire Marshall badge today with our local fire chief James, this should make passing the badge a good deal easier for you all after his informative talk, but remember to look out for all of the items he mentioned; sand, water trough, sand buckets, fire extinguishers , hose pipes, telephone, sand pile (near Max’s stable) and all fire exits. Also don’t forget the posters you need to hand in, with your name and age by saturday 1pm If you need any help, please just ask me.
Details of our second OPEN DAY will be posted here soon. If you have any fund raising ideas or if you would like to run your own stall with a friend please let us know and we can set you up with a stand and add you to our posters, the more the merrier.
