HOLIDAYS

CHILDRENS RIDING HOLIDAYS AT PONY CAMP

Why not come and stay with us, you can help us look after, ride and play with the ponies for a few days while your folks take a trip of their own, have a well deserved break or just get a few things done for themselves. We take no more than six keen horsey girls or boys at a time from the age of 8 up to 18 years old, to live and stay with us as part of our family in the farmhouse at our riding stables and Pony Club Centre.

You will have so much fun at the farm, meet new horsey friends and have your own horse/pony for a few days who will help you to win rosettes and pass tests if you want to.

My mother has always been asthmatic and some of my children have allergies to hay or dust so we have plenty of experience with these ailments, there’s also a first aider on site. You will be supervised in all activities day and evening and if the tides are with us we will organise beach rides, (though not in the July and August as the IoW council forbid it). There is a tuck shop here where you can buy crisps, sweets, postcards, ice lollies etc.

Hill farm fun and safety are paramount at all times. Though not at the farm , we can arrange for bed and breakfast very close by if required for parents/ guardians.

A typical day would be;

07.00 Wake up, get washed and dressed (screens can be used in the room).
